Trading Terms & Conditions

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

By applying for or renewing a stall at International Food Bazaar, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Trading Terms and Conditions.

1. Bump In / Bump Out

Specific setup and pack-up procedures are provided to stallholders upon booking confirmation. Stallholders must follow all instructions provided by Market Management regarding bump-in and bump-out times.

2. Attendance & Weather Conditions

Markets operate in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by Market Management. Stallholders must attend their booked market dates. Market Management is not responsible for loss or damage to stock or equipment caused by weather.

3. Fees

Stall fees must be paid prior to the event to secure a stall position. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Non-attendance does not entitle stallholders to a refund.

4. Early Departures

Early departures are not permitted. Stallholders must remain set up until the official market closing time unless approved by Market Management.

5. Vehicle Safety

Vehicles must unload and then move immediately to designated parking areas. Vehicles must travel slowly (maximum 5km/h) with hazard lights on.

6. Stall Equipment

Stallholders must provide their own:

  • Gazebo (3x3 or approved size)
  • Gazebo weights
  • Tables and chairs
  • Lighting suitable for night trading
  • Long electrical extension cords

The market does not provide gazebos.

7. Gazebo Safety

All gazebos must be secured with appropriate weights on each leg at all times.

8. Rubbish Removal

Stallholders must remove all rubbish and leave their site clean. Market bins are for customer use only.

9. Stall Security

Stallholders are responsible for their own equipment, stock, and cash. Market Management accepts no responsibility for loss or theft.

10. Stallholder Indemnity

Stallholders release and indemnify International Food Bazaar against claims arising from loss, damage, injury, or death caused by their stall operations.

11. Brisbane Multicultural Youth Pty Ltd Liability

Brisbane Multicultural Youth Pty Ltd and its employees are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or death involving vehicles, property, goods, or individuals regardless of cause.

12. Food & Drink Requirements

All food and desserts sold at the market must be 100% Halal certified.

Stallholders must ensure:

  • All meat and ingredients are Halal certified
  • Suppliers comply with Halal requirements
  • No non-halal ingredients are used

Market Management may request proof of Halal certification.

13. Prohibited Products

The following items are strictly prohibited:

Alcohol
Pork products
Non-Halal meat
Illegal or counterfeit goods

14. Food Safety

All food vendors must comply with Brisbane City Council regulations and Queensland Health food safety requirements.

15. Public Liability Insurance

All stallholders must hold minimum $10 million Public Liability Insurance and provide a copy of their certificate prior to trading.

16. Promotional Material

Market Management may use images of stalls and products for marketing purposes.

17. General Conditions

Market Management reserves the right to refuse entry, remove vendors, or prohibit sale of items deemed unsuitable.
